- I am a Native American lady from Portland Oregon. I have 5 children. 4 boys, and 1 girl and 2 grandchildren, 1 boy and 1 girl. I have been in Recovery for 2 1/2 yrs now. I have stopped drinking alcohol for all of the 2 1/2 yrs. I have stopped drug use for good on Oct. 6, 2008. So I just recently celebrated my one year Clean date. I cannot wait to have many more to celebrate. I am in counseling and I attend about 2 meetings a week. I belong to alot of Recovery groups online. I have met alot of good people since. I have no regrets and I love life now!
